Oct. 14 -   Highline won its sixth game in a row and remained undefeated for the season with a 4-0 road shutout (link) of the Lower Columbia Red Devils.  At 9-0-1 in league play and 12-0-1 for the season, the Thunderbirds join Peninsula and Walla Walla as the only NWAC teams without a loss.

The Thunderbirds took control of the game in the first half, with McKenzie Buell scoring at 13 minutes and Jewel Boland adding a pair of goals to put the game out of reach.  Kacy-Lyn Navarro added a second half goal and the league-leading Highline defense, with Jocelyn Hanrath in goal, kept the Red Devils off the board.

Jewel Boland, with 14 goal, tied for third in the NWAC.  This, with her eight assists gives her a season total of 36 points, second in the league.  Jocelyn Hanrath, starting keeper for Highline, leads the league in Save Percentage (.917), Goals Against Average (.20), and Goals Against (2).

With four games left in the regular season, the team next plays at Bellevue on Oct. 18.

Taking on Pierce College, Highline sets itself just before a first-half corner kick.
