Looking To the Upcoming Season
The Highline Women’s Softball team will look improve on its 2018/19 season by welcoming back Soraya Seumalo, Denise Nagayama, and Shaily Moses as sophomores. They will be joined by ten freshmen who have signed letters-of-intent to play at Highline. The team will be led by Shaily Moses, who led the team last year in batting average (.346), on-base percentage (.443), hits (44), doubles (10), and steals (12). Soraya Seumalo led the team in slugging percentage (.481) and walks (18). With no experienced pitching returning, the team will have to hope the freshmen taking to the mound can quickly adapt to college play.
