Tom Moore – Head Coach
Tom Moore played as a captain on the men’s soccer team at Highline in 1992 and 1996, and was an all-star selection. After completing his education at HCC, he moved to Alabama where he was captain of the Huntingdon College Men’s Soccer team and was a two-time NAIA All-Region ” selection in 1999-2000. Moore graduated from Huntingdon in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance & Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management. Coach Moore is a two-time Alabama High School Coach of the Year (1999, 2001); he currently holds a USSF “C” license and the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
Chris Wells – Associate Head Coach
A former Highline College and University of Montana student, Chris joined the women’s soccer staff in February 2013. With his playing career cut short from a series of injuries, Chris spent time as a NCAA D-I and professional referee during college before stepping into the coaching ring. Outside of Highline, Chris is on the coaching staff for the Seattle Reign of the NWSL (women’s top professional division in the United States) since 2014, a staff coach at Federal Way FC and is the girl’s head coach at Kent-Meridian High School since 2012. Chris also uses his education at Highline and UM as a sports journalist for The Tacoma News Tribune.
