It hasn't been easy for Ariassa Wilson.
The former Highline player, who just completed
her junior year as an all-league selection
playing for Simpson University in Redding,
Calif. has perservered over family tragedy
to excel both on the court and the classroom.
In a Tacoma Weekly
article, Wilson describes her path, and her
time at Highline, about which she says: "That was when my life changed the most. I was pushed the most, had the best coaches that pushed me not only on the basketball court but off it. My whole life just went up a notch from there." |
