Back to Winning Ways

Oct. 22

After a tough time playing in the Spokane Dig Pink Crossover,  the Thunderbirds got back on the winning track in defeating the host Grays Harbor Chokers 25-18, 25-19, 25-11 (box).  Highline (22-11 season, 6-2 conference) is tied for second place in the NWAC West Division, tied with Clark College and trailing Tacoma (7-1 league).  Highline gets a chance to move into a tie for first place in hosting Tacoma on Oct. 24.

In defeating the Chokers, Highline was led by the usual suspects.  Danielle Tabor led both teams with 11 kills while Alexandra Toth provided 24 sets and five different players had at least 9 defensive digs.
